Anna Bowdler

Government Affairs Manager


Anna is the firm’s Government Affairs Manager and is responsible for providing clients with guidance and strategy at the federal, state, and local levels of government. She manages government affairs projects for clients, including outreach to elected officials, legislative and regulatory needs, and campaign activities. Anna also researches and analyzes information and provides recommendations to enable strategic decision making and develops political strategies and materials.

Anna works on an array of Pac/West Strategies projects for clients across the West. She assists with community outreach, public relations, and government affairs for Bayswater Production & Exploration, as well as assisting with the drafting and publication of their annual ESG reports. Additionally, Anna has experience with developing political strategies for issues campaigns on behalf of organizations in Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, and Utah. Within Pac/West Strategies, Anna also assists with consistent client communication, business development, and collateral creation.

Anna has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She also has an M.Sc. in Media, Power and Public Affairs from Royal Holloway, University of London in the United Kingdom. Her master’s program provided her with a deeper understanding of how political communication affects public affairs, generates power, and influences rapid changes within societies. Her dissertation specifically focused on the representation of women within political satire. Anna moved to Denver after completing her education and loves to spend her free time in the Rockies with her dog and partner.
