Matthew Logan

Matthew serves as a Government Affairs Associate for Pac/West Strategies, providing support on government affairs projects, policy research, bill analysis and strategic communication to develop effective political and government affairs strategies for the firm’s clients and stakeholders.

Before joining Pac/West, Matthew served as a Legislative Aide during Colorado’s 2024 legislative session for The Capstone Group, LLC, a government relations and lobbying firm, where he conducted legislative research for government affairs projects. He has extensive experience in local and state politics, having served as a Congressional Intern in Representative Yadira Caraveo’s (CO-08) District Office, Executive Speechwriting Intern in the Colorado Governor’s Office, and as a Finance Assistant for the Democratic Senate Campaign Fund, helping fundraise for Democratic state senate campaigns during the 2022 election cycle.

Matthew earned his B.A. in Political Science with a double-minor in Communication Studies and History at the University of Denver, where he served as News Editor of the DU Clarion student newspaper and as Senior Senator of the Student Government. He is very passionate about policy and public service, and enjoys writing, watching sports and spending time with friends and family.
